Apr82021NEWSThe company celebrates its 75th anniversary rewarding 20 meritorious Catering Institutes students on their final school year with formation courses. Moretti Forni offers the chance to create a direct connection with the business world and the greatest professionals to 20 students that have demonstrated passion, dedication and skill in their studies. An opportunity of advanced training courses to award the most meritorious students that aspire to work in the pizzeria, bread-making, bakery and catering world. The initiative has the patronage of “Associazione Italiana Ambasciatori del Gusto” – the Italian Association expression of food service excellence – and will involve Renato Bosco and Mauro Morandin as instructors, both experts have been collaborating with the company for long and were excited to take part in this project. The course will be held in September 2021 at the company headquarters in Mondolfo (in Marche region), in the Moretti LAB, Moretti Forni’s Baking Academy. The total cost for two weeks training – 75k € estimated value – will be entirely borne by Moretti Forni, who will also cover food and accommodation costs of all the participants. “Moretti Forni wants to be supportive for a sector that is living a very peculiar moment giving space to new skills, because being sustainable also means give a helping hand to those in need, when they need it”, states the CEO Mario Moretti, “we are convinced that there will be a strong restart with even higher quality requirements and skills, thus we want to offer a chance to smart minds dreaming of this profession to deepen their knowledge and improve themselves, focussing on those subjects that will help them in the future for their own business, to be prepared for what the labour market will soon ask.” The best students graduating this year from Catering Institutes in Italy that have been selected by the company among the ones that stood out for planning ability, initiatives and student appreciation, could attend “Learn And Bake” course. 40hrs of taught classes and practice are distributed in 5 working days, by national renowned instructors. Depending on the academic specialisation, 10 students will attend “Learn And Bake – pizza making techniques and baking technologies” program divided in different styles: Neapolitan pizza, tray baked pizza, classic pizza, Roman style pizza, gourmet pizza and pan pizza. The other 10 students, coming from Bakery and Pastry specialisations will join the “Learn And Bake – bakery and leavened products making techniques and baking technologies” program, in which they will explore professional dough making techniques, baking techniques and study of raw materials used for cakes and pastries made every day.
